Eden & South Lakeland credit union was authorised to operate as a credit union by the PRA in July 2013. We opened our doors for business in October 2013.
The credit union started out as EdenSave Credit Union Limited covering Eden District. With agreement from both sets of members, South Lakeland Credit Union Limited transferred its undertakings to EdenSave in January 2017; the common bond was extended to cover both Eden District and South Lakeland District, and the business name was changed to Eden & South Lakeland Credit Union Limited.
